For those of you staring at your favorite football jersey for Super Bowl Sunday, it's time for a fit check. Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar and award-winning fashion designer Willy Chavarria are teaming up on a limited-edition capsule collection with the NFL, inspired by Lamar's upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show . "Kendrick performing is so monumental given his voice on the empowerment of Brown and Black people, and I love his pure LA heart," said Chavarria of the Compton-born rapper in a statement.

"We spent a lot of time on the fits and the vibe, and Kendrick tied in everything to get it spot on. "Working with Kendrick is an important cultural moment for the two of us. We both have an unwavering voice when it comes to our people.

This isn't the first time Lamar and Chavarria have joined fashion forces. The pair worked together in 2023 to design the "Not Like Us" emcee's custom festival looks.

The collection, designed by Chavarria and Lamar's creative agency pgLang, boasts stylish threads such as a sleek black bomber jacket with the classic NFL logo, as well as a graphic hoodie that reads "Super Bowl LIX: Foot Up on the Gas, But Somebody Gotta Do It." Other items include gym shorts and T-shirts. Proceeds from the collection will be donated to individuals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires .
