Kanye West is ready to dive back into women’s clothing with his YZY brand . While he launched his first womenswear collection in 2011, he spent years on other fashion and music endeavors. In January 2025, he teased what’s to come — and he issued the teaser with a warning.
Kanye West posted the new YZY bodysuit for women that’s reminiscent of Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS collection Kanye West and YZY fans got a look at the new women’s bodysuit on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. West posted a photo of the high-cut black bodysuit that his wife, Bianca Censori, has seemingly been wearing in photos for quite some time.
“Yzy women’s coming next,” West wrote in his post on X . “SCALING INNOVATION. For anyone in clothing that doesn’t work at Yeezy be afraid Be very afraid [sic].
” He then called out “corporations” who’ve tried to “leverage” his platform and overcharge consumers while “ignoring his vision and direction.” “Now my vision is coming to life and I have a John Wick vendetta against every fashion company as my fellow Gemini Tupac said Die mutherf***er Die [sic].” West famously helped his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian , launch her shapewear company, SKIMS , in 2019.
Kardashian said in the past that West had a lot of input in the SKIMS product line. Fans anticipate West’s new YZY womenswear to potentially compete with Kardashian’s SKIMS offerings. However, West still has a 5% stake in his ex-wife’s company.
