HE Minister of Culture, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE Minister of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, opened the Egyptian cultural week in the State of Qatar, at Darb Al Saai permanent headquarters in Umm Salal. Held within the framework of strengthening the cultural cooperation between Qatar and Egypt, the event features numerous activities that highlight the prolific and diverse cultural legacy of Egypt which is slated to run from Tuesday until Jan.

The event is held in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and brings together high-ranking official delegation, a host of Egyptian artists, as well as artisans and specialists in the areas of arts and heritage. Hanno stated that the Egyptian cultural week in Doha expresses the cultural integration between Egypt and Qatar and showcases the prolific and diverse Egyptian culture, highlighting that it reflects the spirit of cooperation between the two nations, as well as the Egyptian authenticity and identity in a framework of cultural exchange. He lauded the commitment of the Qatari public to attending this event and intensively engaging in the Egyptian activities, underscoring the profundity of cultural ties between the two peoples. Dr.
