The singer and actress has signed a global solo deal with Warner, kicking off the next phase in her career with her upcoming debut solo EP, . “I feel like I’m just getting started, and I’d like to thank the Blinks [Blackpink fans] for all of their love and support,” Jisoo said in a release.

“This is just the beginning and I’m thrilled to kick off this seismic moment with Warner Records.” Jisoo’s upcoming EP is her “most comprehensive solo work yet,” according to a release, marking the “rebirth of the global superstar.” The album has been described as “leaning into the emotional stages of love.



” The album will be the singer’s first EP, having previously released a single album in 2023, prior to departing from Korean agency YG Entertainment as a soloist. “There is no question that Jisoo is one of the biggest stars in the world, and we have no doubt that her solo career will be even more impactful. The energy, passion, and artistry Jisoo brings to her music is on another level,” Warner Records CEO and co-chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck said in a release.
