BOSTON — The Celtics are again back in the win column following a loss , doing so in a blowout fashion. They beat the Bulls 122-100 on Wednesday at TD Garden off an impressive game from Kristaps Porzingis . The C’s improved to 33-15 on the season while the Bulls dropped to 20-28.
While the Bulls hung around through the first quarter, the C’s broke the game open in the second. Porzingis was everywhere as he couldn’t do any wrong, tying his season-high with 26 points all in the first half. The Celtics also did a lot of damage with Jayson Tatum on the bench as the depth flexed its muscles even without Sam Hauser and Al Horford .
The Bulls, who were without Zach LaVine for personal issues, never recovered from there. The C’s lead peaked at 24 points Wednesday as it was a dominant effort. Porzingis led the way for the Celtics with 34 points and 11 rebounds.
Jaylen Brown added 28 points, six rebounds and six assists while Derrick White added 22 points and five assists. Coby White and Patrick Williams each had 16 points for the Bulls. The Celtics embark on a three-game road trip, next taking on the Pelicans at 8 p.
