One of Cornwall's youngest breweries is expanding. Mason Brewing Co in Threemilestone, on the edge of , was set up last year by Mike Mason, the former head brewer at The Driftwood Spars and Brewhouse and Kitchen in St Agnes. The beer aficionado has been brewing everything from traditional beers to modern pale ales, IPAS, imperial stouts and everything in between and punters have loved it.
Mike also has a taproom, where the brewery is on full show, which serves at least seven beers as well as local cider, wines and spirits. Now the brewer is recruiting so he can put on even more events and focus on the brewing while the new member of staff can run the taproom. He said that due to the increasing demand for its on site brews, the brewery is now hiring a part-time bar staff member to help with busy evenings.
The position is ideal for someone with bar experience who has a love for beer, but enjoys working in a less formal and less pressurised setting.
