Every family has its more explosive moments - but when you have 22 children and counting, plus a growing brood of grandchildren, the potential for drama is multiplied and then some. Sue and Noel Radford - the stars at the heart of the hit TV show 22 Kids And Counting - have recently come under fierce criticism, with some accusing mum-of-22 Sue of "falsely leading viewers" into believing she had been diagnosed with dementia. In an episode aired on Sunday, January 26, viewers saw Noel, 54, express concern for Sue, 49, after she appeared quieter and more stressed than usual.

The bakery businessman's fears then grew after he discovered a leaflet for dementia in their car. However, it was later revealed that one of Sue's friends had dementia - not Sue herself. A number of fans felt the episode to be misleading and didn't hold back with their thoughts on the matter.



This is, of course, far from the only time that the Radfords have sparked controversy...

Teenage pregnancy revelation In their joint book The Radfords: Making Life Count, published in February 2024, Noel addressed the controversy over his and Sue's respective ages at the time of their first pregnancy .
