Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert have shared how Waitrose shoppers face a rule change from today. The BBC Sounds and ITV star's team spoke out on the MSE website, sharing how customers can expect a perk to return in stores from today. MSE explained: "If you're a new or existing My Waitrose loyalty scheme member, you can now claim a free hot drink every day without having to make a purchase.
The only catch is that you'll need to bring your own reusable cup in most cases." It said: "From Monday 27 January, you can get a regular americano, cappuccino, latte or tea for free at stand-alone Waitrose and Little Waitrose stores. To avoid missing out (and to help the planet), remember to bring in your own reusable cup, as Waitrose will only provide cups "in some cases" subject to availability.

Waitrose also reversed a decision to reduce the number of sheets in its Essential Waitrose bathroom tissue after an online revolt from customers upset that their lavatory rolls were delivering less wipe for their money. It comes after it emerged M&S has overtaken Waitrose for the first time outside of the festive period last month as it claims the title of Middle England’s favourite.
