The story follows the “Holy Night” team—Ba Woo (Ma Dong Seok), Sharon (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun), and Kim Kun (David Lee)—who possess special powers and are determined to rid the city of demonic forces. The newly released stills feature the “Holy Night” team, who take down demons with fresh and harmonious synergy.
Ma Dong Seok takes on the role of Ba Woo, a character who hunts demons with extraordinary strength that surpass human limits. Gaining attention for his first challenge in the occult genre, the actor shared, “It was important to portray the thrilling moments of subduing [evil’s] worshippers and eradicating forces of evil. These scenes shouldn’t be portrayed as overly fantastical, so I focused on how to showcase Ba Woo’s unique powers while keeping him grounded in reality.
After much deliberation, I designed and performed action sequences that are different from anything I’ve done before.” Seohyun plays skilled exorcist Sharon, who senses the presence of demons, tracks them down, and exorcises them, serving as the central figure of the “Holy Night” team.
