ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly has sent a stern three-word message to Wynne Evans following his inappropriate comment towards Strictly co-star Janette Manrara. The incident occurred during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour launch in Birmingham earlier this month. On Monday's edition of her show, Lorraine addressed Wynne's behaviour, stating bluntly: "Do better, mate.
" She further commented on the former opera singer's crude remark towards It Takes Two host Janette, saying: "The former opera singer has been in the headlines, though, after being overheard making a crude sexual remark towards It Takes Two presenter Janette during a photocall. I shan't say what he said, suffice to say, it's really not on." Wynne has since apologised, saying in a statement: "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.
" A spokesperson for the Strictly Live Tour and BBC Studios stated that they have made it clear to Wynne that such behaviour is not tolerated. They also added that they were previously unaware of the remark and had received no complaints, reports the Daily Record . Wynne, who competed in last year's series of Strictly with professional partner Katya Jones, had previously drawn attention when Katya appeared to reject a high-five from him during an episode of Strictly in October.
Footage of Wynne placing his hand on Katya's waist also went viral on social media. Katya later denied feeling "uncomfortable or offended in any way", while Wynne shared how.
