Lidl shoppers are being warned to return an item due to risk of contamination that could make them ill. The latest recall stresses that it could be "contaminated with Salmonella." The Food Standards Agency , FSA for short, said: "Lidl GB is recalling Sol & Mar Chicharricos BBQ Pork Scratchings because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
" Because of the risk, they ask: "Customers are being asked to return this product to their nearest store where a full refund will be provided." They add that if you've bought it, "we advise you not to eat it." In their "risk statement", the FSA stress: "Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
" What is being recalled? Their Sol & Mar Chicharricos BBQ Pork Scratchings are being recalled, specifically their 100 g pack size with the following best before dates: What is being done? Lidl GB is recalling the product and notices will be posted in all retail stores selling this product. It will inform customers about the recall and provide instructions on what to do if you have purchased it. What should I do if I've bought this? FSA state: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it.
