In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness a significant romantic moment between Reet (Ayushi Khurana) and Raghav (Bharat Ahlawwat) as they recreate the iconic rain sequence from the classic Bollywood film Aashiqui 2 (2013), originally featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The scene, known for its deep emotional impact, features the heroine taking shelter under the hero’s coat amidst the rain.
This recreation is expected to evoke nostalgia among fans while adding depth to Reet and Raghav’s growing bond. Filming the sequence presented several challenges, including continuous artificial rain, slippery ground, and multiple retakes. Despite the physically demanding conditions, Ayushi and Bharat remained committed to delivering an authentic performance.
Ayushi Khurana shared her experience, saying, “It was surreal to shoot this scene. The ‘Aashiqui 2 moment’ is iconic and bringing it to life with our own emotions and chemistry was truly special. Reet and Raghav’s relationship is evolving, and this scene beautifully captures their unspoken feelings.
That said, shooting in the rain wasn’t easy! The water was cold, and multiple takes made it even more challenging, but it was enjoyable - shivering between shots and laughing through it.” Bharat Ahlawwat also reflected on the moment, stating, “This sequence isn’t just about romance; I think it's ab.
