Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Rhys McClenaghan has dismissed talk of a backstage rivalry with fellow Olympian Jack Woolley on Dancing with the Stars . Last Sunday, Rhys received his first two 10s of the season after he and his pro dance partner Laura Nolan performed an outstanding Charleston on the RTE One show. But also top of the leaderboard is Taekwondo Olympian Jack Woolley and his pro partner Alex Vladimirov, who danced an impressive Tango for movie night.
Asked if Jack was his competition, Rhys responded: "Everyone on the show is competing for the top of the scoreboard." "We're in control of going out and performing and giving our best. So no, we don't feel like that whatsoever," she said.
Rhys said: "Yeah we talk to Jack and Alex, and all of us are so friendly on the show. Nice thing to have, like everyone is really wishing the best for each other. "And I look forward to Sunday nights - well, Saturdays and Sunday - because you kind of get to see a bit of everything from everyone.
And I'm just like a spectator on the show, watching everyone and enjoying it to its fullest. "So I really l.
