Disney+ is set to welcome Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man this week. The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe unfolds in an alternate timeline where Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo), also known as the Green Goblin, takes on the role of Peter Parker's (Hudson Thames) mentor instead of Tony Stark. The Mirror US reports the series features Eugene Byrd as Parker's classmate Lonnie Lincoln, Grace Song as Parker's best friend Nico Minoru, Zeno Robinson as Harry Osborn, and Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius.

Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock and Daredevil in another MCU series, with plans for his own standalone series, Daredevil: Born Again. The animation style pays tribute to the classic Spider-Man comics, with the trailer even nodding to the original 1967 Spider-Man theme. The series introduces a variety of new special suits for Peter Parker and fresh characters distinct from the main MCU.

New episodes will drop weekly on Disney+, but when can viewers expect the season finale? Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man comprises 10 episodes, with the first two premiering on Wednesday, January 29. The series will release multiple episodes each week. Episodes three to five are slated for Wednesday, February 5, followed by episodes six to eight on February 12, and the final two episodes on February 19.

The reason why Disney+ has chosen to release the episodes in groups is unknown. Disney+ typically releases its new shows once every week, but recently mixed up the release sched.
