CORONATION Street in schedule shake up this week as Friday's episode has been 'ditched'. Usually, episodes of the long-running ITV soap air every week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. However, the new edition of Coronation Street that is due to end at the end of the week has been delayed.

Instead, ITV1 will air coverage of the Rugby Six Nations Championship after Emmerdale at 7:30pm. Viewers will miss out on their Weatherfield fix as France will take on Wales in the highly-anticipated match. The sports programme will continue until at least 10:35pm, which will be swiftly followed by the news .
