The Traitors star Leanne has spoken about the intense moment she discovered she had won the BBC show alongside fellow player Jake. Appearing on Monday's instalment of This Morning, she told Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley the emotions she was going through at the time. After congratulating her triumph, Ben commented: "That was one of the most intense things I've ever experienced.
What was it like watching it back?" She replied: "It was just the most nervy thing I've ever done in my life!" She added: "Those last moments were just horrific. Finding out, just before Jake revealed that he was faithful, that Frankie and Alexander were both faithful, broke my heart." The BBC star detailed Jake playing a trick on her at the last moment, pretending to be a traitor which she believed.
Leanne told the two ITV stars: "I really though in that moment, wow, I've made such a huge mistake." Although both Leanne and Jake were faithfuls throughout the game, the 28-year-old wasn't entirely honest with the group from the start. She introduced herself as being a nail technician when, in fact, she had an extensive military career.
Blown away by her deceptive skills, Cat asked: "How did you keep up that level of subterfuge through the whole thing?" Leanne confessed it was difficult as there was more interest in her fake job than she expected. She added: "It was difficult! It was harder than what I thought. I wasn't expecting all throughout, the girls asking me, 'Oh tell me about your salon, what do you.
