Image: Instagram/@msaiaidelasalas Ai-Ai delas Alas disclosed that the petition she filed for her estranged husband Gerald Sibayan to obtain a green card and be a permanent resident of the United States has been revoked. The comedian, as per Philippine Entertainment Portal, filed the revocation of her petition to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), citing their separation and Sibayan’s alleged third party.
The agency approved her request. Delas Alas also appealed to the agency to revoke any issued work and travel permits to Sibayan. The actress’ lawyer stated as well that the pair’s divorce is already being processed.
Through her Facebook page on Sunday, March 30, Delas Alas affirmed the reports as she expressed her gratitude for the support she has been receiving. “May mga nagtatanong pa din kung totoo ito. Opo, totoo ito,” she said, referring to the reports.
“Salamat sa mga sumuporta.” “Through the darkest moments, when I felt abandoned and alone, God has been my constant source of strength and comfort. His grace has helped me cope with the pain, giving me the courage to keep going, one day at a time,” she continued.
Delas Alas also thanked her “good son” as well as her friends for constantly being by her side. “God bless you all.” Sibayan has yet to comment on the matter as of this writing.
Delas Alas earlier said that she regards her marriage with Sibayan, with whom she has a 30-yea.
