BUTTE, Mont. – Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement reports that their department is currently facing issues with its 911 system this Thursday evening. As a result, BSBLE says all 911 calls in Butte are being handled by nearby agencies in Beaverhead, Jefferson, and Madison counties.
These agencies are relaying the information to Butte Emergency dispatch. Despite the technical difficulties, callers in Butte-Silver Bow can still reach 911 and receive assistance. Residents are encouraged to continue calling 911 in case of emergencies.
BSBLE says that the issue is beyond the control of Butte-Silver Bow, and efforts are underway working with the service provider to resolve it. For emergencies, residents should continue to dial 911..
