Monday, March 24, 2025 Costa Rica is making a significant push into luxury tourism with the recent openings of two high-end resorts: Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique. The Ritz-Carlton Reserve welcomed its first guests earlier this year, while the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique will begin welcoming guests on April 22, 2025. These openings reflect Costa Rica’s strategy to position itself as a premier destination for affluent travelers seeking a blend of indulgence, nature, wellness, and adventure.
